6 Quick Reasons Why diets fail!

Sure there are tons of diets that will help you lose weight fast, but majority are not safe and the weight can come back quicker than it was lost!  Here are 6 reasons why diets fail!

 

1.  Diets are hard to follow. Most diets require a big change in a person’s normal eating habits.  They are          often at odds with social, work and family lives.

2.  Diets very often make you feel hungry and deprived.  They create powerful cravings for the very foods you may be trying to avoid.

3.  Diets leave you feeling denied

4.  Diets do not allow you to be in charge of what you eat. Diets are prescriptive and often tell you what, when and how to eat

5.  Diets don’t address the real reasons people overeat.  Dieting does not solve the problem of emotional eating when you are sad, angry, bored or lonely.

6. Diets fail to make you more knowledgeable about healthy nutrition.  They teach you nothing about choosing healthier foods that you can enjoy in amounts that won’t cause weight gain.
